Castle Merchants
Jerry Dziuba "Castle Merchants' from the Z-Men - Verlag in Germany under that very name of the road, which we initially irritated, but also curiously opened the game.
The "medieval trade and travel game" revealed itself in his guise as a little "frumpy". The game acts like material produced from the last decade.
Trade we had during our round in a very simple form, by certain products supplied to those locks, whose name (Chianti Castle, Castle Fromage etc.) was already closed to each preferred product. We were rewarded for it with gold, the first appearing at the court dealer can reap the biggest chunk.
The trips, however proved to be a long work: First, build paths, which possessed different surfaces such as forest, plains or mountains, to the tiles, the traveler maneuver namely, using locomotion maps over the previously built trails.
This works, of course, not without problems, because the enemy can butt in either platelets or landslide shift even the expensive laid underground to another area of the pitch. Then, if no matching motion cards are available, you can get stuck before.
The whole is seasoned with a bit of randomness in the form of a dice roll and the grazing field where new as in the castles of cards in hand, and thus more opportunities for action may be taken. Since the playing of cards is the core element of the game, this means rapid tightening of cards a tempo advantage.
The winner is who has the end collected 18 gold pieces in the castles. This turns out to end the game when the way - resources are almost depleted somewhat more difficult than in the earlier phase of the game, so at this point even came up a little race-character.
All in all, Castle Merchants is not a very complex game, has mins with about 30. a short time and has at least the race for gold a little excitement and combinatorics.
