Small World by Philippe Keyaerts from Days of Wonder Publisher reminiscent of the 1999's previous "Vinci" is not only graphically improved, but also offers some more game details than the classics.

By the way: how to properly in times of "killer games" and describe the age-old debate about war games, "Territorial Erorberungsspiel" entertaining and family-friendly? In the translated game rules of Small World, this is certainly not quite managed consistently. The contaminated at least in Germany, 'race' could just as well called "characters", and we remember that "conquest" has been renamed the game "Risk" in "Free".
