Mr. Jack Expansion
About extensions, there are divided opinions. Improve or extend it to a game or they are really tough economic calculus of the publishers, if such mechanisms that properly belong to the basic game, will be published only in an extension?
Sometimes extensions also result from feedback or even specific variation wishes of the players themselves, the extension for Mr. Jack, the basic game is such a case, revealing us 5 new characters, two of which are the result of a competition held by the Swiss publishing house and the Hurricane authors have conducted Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc in 2007.
Let's look at the characters and more:
Spring-Heeled Man: Abberline and are the winners of the competition. The Spring-Heeled Man knows no obstacles and jumps across all persons, houses and construction sites.
Abberline shall not in its investigations to ensure that suspects are highest moving away from him a box.
John Pizer looks threatening, and why that makes other nearby people walking up to 3 squares away from him remove.
Joseph Lane is obviously an organized road workers in the union, and can set up barricades on the streets if they do not obstruct the last escape route for Mr. Jack.
The pink shows Madame liked the people and therefore can go far to 6 fields. The underground but they used very reluctantly, and avoid him as much as possible.
Since the game is designed for 8 rounds, the players must decide before the game, what characters they want to play. Some characters from the basic game are set according to rule and must play in every case.
After all, the players get through this add a little more variety, but offered no new elements. What we find, however, very unfortunate is the fact that this extension is really just playing the basic game, Mr. Jack, and not with the new edition of "Mr. Jack, New York," because that has other suits.
