Hurry Cup
Everything was better. The streets were empty, maintained the fuel prices low and the manners very much. Those are really the best way for a real race in style. Hurry Cup in the game by Antoine Bauza, which is published by Hurrican, the players will be moved to the founding years to compete with their cars in a road race, which can be reminiscent of the "Mille Miglia". Each player takes the role of a member of the upper 10,000, and tries to bring his car to be the first across the finish line. One thing, however, the speed limits are observed, we are not just "fast and furious."
In the package found a tableau at the top to see a noble in the hotel and six sun umbrellas, and the start field. To this tableau around the track with the variable included in Sechseckplättchen "settlers" will size up. For each of the players small cardboard cutout with the various drivers and their cars are included. These are, of course, for a start on the starting grid.
Some Pappchips are included. These are for a star chips that are distributed to the track tile with a star and the three types of action chips, which are distributed to the participating players.
The most important component are the colored oversized pawn and the corresponding dice and the dice cup. For each participating player now a pawn is placed on a sun shield and the corresponding cube thrown into the dice cup. Last but not least, the Red Lantern (large Pappchip) and the Turbo dice (larger cubes in natural color) set ready. So then: Gentlemen (in women) start your Enginger.
Each round consists of the following two phases:
"Choice" of the tank:
The active player gets the dice cup and dice. Now take all players a hand on his back and is laid flat on the table. Now the dice are revealed and each player grabs the pawn in the middle, which corresponds to the color of his desire cube. Then everyone gets his cube without changing the value. This cube is "Tank", and determines the maximum Zugweite in the current round.
Movement and Turbo:
Now, each player in turn beginning with the first player's turn to throw the dice Turbo. The sum of both dice must sometimes ten of the current speed. The active player may now be the vehicle according to the "tanks" to move on, if it exceeds any speed limit. If a player is traveling faster than it allows a track tile, it must stop before it and thus ended his train. If a player is alone in last place, he gets the Red Lantern and may in the next round a field pull it forward without having to observe speed limits need.
After each round the pawns are put back on any sun screen and the dice is transferred to the next player.

Hurry Cup offers everything you expect from a race. Voltage (for example, there are values which dice this time), Action (I manage to grab my pawns) and a little tactic (I risk a large tank, so I come far, but also risking a high speed). This would be enough entertainment already done, but the chips once more bring more spice into the game. There are de facto rather than once every round unexpected twists.
The whole is rounded off by attractive graphics and high-quality material. But there is little criticism of it after all. In the game rule, the individual drivers through illustrations and a short atmospheric text to be introduced. Would not it be great if the characters were very different but also special properties, which they used maybe once a game. That would make our opinion a very good game even better.
As it has already been touched on: Hurry Cup is a very fun racing game that simulates the feel and excitement of a racing situation really well. The waiting times are very short, so that the game offers, especially in larger cast. So who set himself once behind the wheel and show the people playing the taillights will, that is Hurry to Cup definitely in the right place.
