Kamisado is a colorful and highly strategic board game by Peter Burley, which is designed for two players and in its structure a little like chess.

In setting up the game, especially the pronounced bright colors catch the eye. The game board is like a chess board divided into 64 squares. However, these are not black and white, but in eight colors varied.

There is also Sixteen octagonal towers in the same eight colors as the playing field. One half is a golden and the other half with a black kite marked. Matching the players are black and gold rings that can be placed on the towers in three different sizes.

Each player now places his towers on their own "home range", ie the series, which the player is nearest. The colors of the towers must each match the colors of the field.
