Aqueduct
"Building houses is not difficult to provide water even more," reads the introductory text to Aqueduct from the Schmidt home games. Author Bernhard Weber takes this old Roman proverb literally and presents a game for 2-4 players in which the objective is to provide as many houses with water.
This is done in three possible moves:
1st Build houses
The houses here are built down in those specified areas that have been previously dice with the 20-sided die. The houses have different valences 1-3 dots.
2nd Source expose
Who the channel is full (of water will have) needs first a source. This is placed at a safe distance of at least five fields in the form of small beads onto the field.
3rd Channels to build
From the source can now be the water supply. The channels are possible, walk past the houses of their own to generate points, but that is where the fun begins, because if there are only one channel is the player who is on the train, there will very quickly put a house, have his dice luck is.
Who in the end "built near water", does not need to break out in tears, but may shed tears of joy, for he has won the game, where the houses have earned enough victory points. A special classification by the field existing in the mountains, the result can again easily influenced, as if for a "spa" plus or "dirty water" gives negative points.
Aqueduct is a pleasant, easy to understand! Match game, work together in balance with the tactical skill and luck of the dice. With about 30 minutes playing time is pleasantly short.
A big plus get the game for the equipment. The W-20 is fun to see the beads send out as water sources and wooden sticks for channels contribute high-quality.
