agricola_jahreszeiten This free expansion in postcard format appeared on the Game Fair in Essen 2008. It was distributed free of charge at the booth of the publisher Lookout Games. The card serves as an additional Schedule to the basic game. This extension can be played with the family and the complete version.

It is divided into four fields, each field represents one season. In each round a different field is activated, creating a simulation of the seasons will be implemented very impressive.

At the beginning of the game a guest brand is put on the field of real time and prevailing at the beginning of a turn around a field pushed further. Each season brings a new field of action with you and will be produced once more and sometimes less building materials. On the original board are two additional guest campaign marks the fields marked, are covered in the current round of a special scheme.

The enlargement is really a mini-expansion, but has a significant influence on the game. For the strategists among us it is incredibly difficult to make our tactics, for it is not more regular supplies of raw materials. A small drawback, however, the expansion in two - person game. Reed to build houses is extremely important.

However, it is almost impossible for a player to extend his houses, because in the fall you get an extra reeds, a year later there are no reeds in the spring and is possibly the reed gone again before the player's turn. Otherwise, makes "In the change of seasons" fun and should not be missing in any game of Agricola.

Agricola Z-Deck

Author: Jens Tags: , ,

The Z - Deck is the first expansion for Agricola from the pens of Uwe Rosenberg, Hanno Girke, Melissa Rogerson and Klemens Franz It consists of 12 new courses and 12 small purchases. A great change in the course of the game cards bring not with him, But with a little luck, interesting new combinations and moves are possible. It is important however to keep the temporal balance of the few "vital" trains in the tight laps.

The cards are given for a symbolic fee of 1 € directly from publisher Lookout Games. The euro is fehlinvestiert in any case. You were right, that the publisher Lookout sold so cheap priced expansion packs.

Overview Click on the picture enlarges the representation:

Lookout Games has let some things come up to the gigantic game of Agricola. First there was the Spielbox sticker for the family members playing pieces. A large selection of funny and very beautiful realistic painted figures. So the games makes doubly fun.

Then it was on show in Essen, an action which is the boring round grains and vegetables, as well as cattle, sheep and pigs by could replace real animals and foods. It is not a real extension but a replacement of the game material. This exchange is worth, however. You can just assign the stones faster than beginners, because there are an incredible number of different Agricola round pieces.

All in all, really worthwhile and a significant increase in the quality of play.

Agricola

Author: Jens Tags: ,

agricola Agricola is a board game by Uwe Rosenberg for one to five players. It was published in 2007 in Publishing Lookout Games. The player's task is a farm (Agricola is Latin and means "peasant" build). By means of agriculture and animal husbandry have a growing family will be provided. Large and small purchases such as a cooking and training of workers to allow more efficient management.

The complexity of the game's the attraction. To learn the game completely, it is a beginner, an interactive and a complex variant, the strategies vary with the strong and increase the tactical possibilities.

Each player has at the beginning of the game a farmer and his wife, who must manage the farm. It is this in 14 rounds to agriculture and livestock moving to and expand the family. Time, it is however to expand the living space to build fences for livestock and plant the seeds in fields after the farmer has plowed it.

For these same actions will be awarded victory points at the end and reveal the winner of the game. In each round, each family member may perform an action. The larger the family, the more actions you can perform per round.

It is also the family members to train, and small and large purchases to make, so you can feed more members. As a basis to start the game there are 7 little cost and training seven cards per player, which are intended by chance. It is not possible to obtain new cards during the game.

The game is faster then ended, as one may, for it is never really possible to have expanded the farm ideally within a short time.

The high number of cards that can take many may overlook many games, the game is exciting, varied and is not a game like the other. However, I think the game as a family game suitable for less. The regulatory framework is too complex and is not to learn in a few minutes. However, it is the game worth a great deal with it. It is not only because of the complexity but also because of the closeness to reality is a real treat for any game fan. Give to play two rounds of time, then you will love it.

The game is designed graphic material of very high quality. We use wooden tokens. In the new edition to the game since 2008, certain changes have been made. There is also the L-Z and the X-Deck as expansion cards.
