Agricola
Agricola is a board game by Uwe Rosenberg for one to five players. It was published in 2007 in Publishing Lookout Games. The player's task is a farm (Agricola is Latin and means "peasant" build). By means of agriculture and animal husbandry have a growing family will be provided. Large and small purchases such as a cooking and training of workers to allow more efficient management.
The complexity of the game makes the stimulus. To learn the game completely, it is a beginner, an interactive and a complex variant, the strategies vary with the strong and increase the tactical possibilities.
Each player has at the beginning of the game a farmer and his wife, who must manage the farm. It is this in 14 rounds to agriculture and livestock moving to and expand the family. Time, it is however to expand the living space to build fences for livestock and plant the seeds in fields after the farmer has plowed it.
For these same actions will be awarded victory points at the end and reveal the winner of the game. In each round, each family member may perform an action. The larger the family, the more actions you can perform per round.
It is also the family members to train, and small and large purchases to make, so you can feed more members. As a basis to start the game there are 7 little cost and training seven cards per player, which are intended by chance. It is not possible to obtain new cards during the game.
The game is faster then ended, as one may, for it is never really possible to have expanded the farm ideally within a short time.
The high number of cards that can take many may overlook many games, the game is exciting, varied and is not a game like the other. However, I think the game as a family game suitable for less. The regulatory framework is too complex and is not to learn in a few minutes. However, it is the game worth a great deal with it. It is not only because of the complexity but also because of the closeness to reality is a real treat for any game fan. Give to play two rounds of time, then you will love it.
The game is designed graphic material of very high quality. We use wooden tokens. In the new edition to the game since 2008, certain changes have been made. There is also the L-Z and the X-Deck as expansion cards.
